As debuts go, Rupert's couldn't have been much better as he scored for Great Britain against Australia in a thrilling 4-4 draw at the start of the 2020 FIH Hockey Pro League.
His goal scoring exploits in a Great Britain shirt continued in 2021 as he netted four goals in four FIH Hockey Pro League matches at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre before also finding the target at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Rupert was then selected for the winning GB Squad that played in Argentina, where he played 4 out of 4 games, helping them to go top of the table after the first mini-tournament
A strong, attacking player with a keen eye for goal, Rupert could have become a rugby player were in not for an injury sustained in his late teens that led to him focusing more on hockey.
Before joining the full-time programme Rupert was a teacher, while his sister Zoe also played for both England and Great Britain.
