Throughout the Olympic Games 75 Hockey Houses were set up around the country in various Hockey clubhouses and Mitchells and Butler Pubs. They were a huge success and meant that fans that couldn’t get to the Riverbank Arena could still congregate to watch the Great Britain teams.
Each Hockey House was decorated with a real British feel - bunting, life-sized cut-outs of GB players, inflatable hockey sticks and fans were provided with all the information on match times/results. The atmosphere was buzzing as decisions were discussed and goals were celebrated.

Thousands of people visited the hotel to soak up the atmosphere, watch the matches and enjoy the spectacular graphics (see image below) that had been specially designed to decorate the bars.
