An exciting attacker with pace to burn, Jo has established herself as a key member of the England and Great Britain teams during this Olympic cycle.
After making her international debut in 2013, the former Nottingham University student then had to wait four years before her next opportunity to shine on the biggest stage.
However she’s since grabbed that with both hands, featuring for England at two EuroHockey Championships, a Commonwealth Games and a home World Cup. She also appeared in the majority of GB’s games during the 2019 and 2020 FIH Hockey Pro League campaigns and helped the side qualify for the Tokyo Olympics, where she was a reserve.
She is also married to the England and GB men’s goalkeeper George Pinner and is known amongst the squad for her wicked sense of humour and unerring ability to always be the last out of the changing room, often without trying!
