Zoe Shipperley

Making her debut for England in February 2014 after already making an appearance for Great Britain, Zoe is a powerful and dominant defender who hits the ball harder than most. Her backhand technique is immaculate and she has a mean aerial as well. She first played for Aylesbury Hockey Club after playing hockey at school, crediting her fantastic coach for getting into the sport. Although Zoe's main sports were tennis and netball when she was younger, it wasn't long before she went to Buckingham Ladies Hockey Club where she spent the majority of her junior years.

Outside of playing the sport Zoe's been coach at St. Edwards School in Oxford, where she also works as a graduate assistant with a Bsc in Sports Performance from the University of Bath.
