Iain Mackay

London 2012 will be Iain’s first taste of an Olympics Games but with 94 international appearances since his debut in May 2009 and a full collection of bronze, silver and gold medals to his name he is no stranger to British hockey fans. Iain cites his greatest achievement in hockey as winning the European Championship in Amstelveen just three months after making his debut. Iain plays his club hockey for Reading and was part of the team that finished third in the 2010/11 Euro Hockey League. Away from hockey Iain has managed to balance his hockey career with working for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a trainee accountant.
