Nicki Cochrane

Known as ‘Coco’ to her friends, Nicki has been playing senior hockey for Scotland since 2012, making her debut aged just 18 in the Hockey World League Round 1 tournament in Prague, Czech Republic.

Since then she has shared goalkeeping duties for the Scots with Amy Gibson and was named ‘Goalkeeper of the Tournament’ at the Hockey World League Round 2 competition in Spain during February 2017.

One year later she made her Great Britain debut against Argentina, featuring in four out of five tests, before appearing in the opening two games of the FIH Pro League.

Domestically, Nicki won the 2014/15 Women’s First Division title with Edinburgh University, where she graduated with a BSc in Sport & Recreation Management. She then moved down to England, featuring for Clifton Robinsons before helping Beeston achieve promotion back to the Investec Women’s Hockey League Premier Division for the 2018/19 season.
