Natalie Seymour

Canterbury defender Natalie is one of GB’s two reserve athletes for the Olympic Games, alongside clubmate goalkeeper Abi Walker. Since making her senior international debut for England in late 2006, Natalie has gone on to win medals at all of the major championships. Natalie cites her greatest achievement in hockey as being part of the first English women’s hockey team to win a World Cup medal, in Argentina in 2010. Brought up in Maidstone, she has an MSc in Health Psychology from London Metropolitan University and a BSc from the University of Kent, where she received a sport scholarship.
