Opposition announced for Olympic pools
The draw has been made to determine who will face who in the pool stage at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

There will be a rematch of the Rio 2016 final for GB’s women who have been drawn in the same pool as the Netherlands. Ireland, who reached the final of the 2018 Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup, will also come up against Mark Hager’s side in the pool stage.

Meanwhile GB’s men will also take on the Dutch, as well as reigning World and European champions Belgium in a pool that, like the women’s, contains four European teams.

Both Great Britain’s men and women have been drawn in the same pool as Germany, who they’ll face in the final double header of FIH Pro League action at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in what will be the last chance to see our teams in action before the Games and now becomes an exciting prequel to their showdown at the Olympics.

The FIH Pro League Four day pass and Season ticket sale is now on, click HERE for more information and to buy tickets.
