Scotland out to make an impact on EuroHockey Championships return
Scotland will feature amongst Europe’s best this August after winning the EuroHockey Championship II in 2017 to secure promotion for this year’s event.

The team will look to make a strong start on their return to the top flight with a tough match against Germany on Saturday 17 August before facing Ireland, a team they drew against in a recent two match Test Series at the end of July, the following day at 2:45pm BST.

The final Pool B match for Scotland will see them come up against the victors of the 2017 EuroHockey Championships, the Netherlands, with the last meeting between the sides coming in 2017 at the Hockey World League semi-final where the Dutch triumphed 3-0.

Alan Forsyth, who captains the side, and Lee Morton both featured for Great Britain in their FIH Pro League campaign through 2019, whilst Cammy Golden also makes the squad having played a part in the gold medal victory at the U21 EuroHockey Championship II in July.
