Reaction: What we learned after GBs latest double header

Great Britain were beaten by Australia in both matches of Saturday’s double header in Perth, which for the men was their first defeat in the FIH Pro League. We look back at the reaction and what’s been learned from the latest games.

Both GB teams competitive despite defeat
Results aside, plenty of positives could be taken from the weekend's matches. Despite not coming away with a victory, there were encouraging displays from both GB sides who matched their Australian counterparts for large parts but a failure to finish chances proved costly.
FIH Pro League's entertainment continues
With the FIH Pro League continuing to thrill on the pitch, it’s also capturing attention off it with big crowds watching the globes best teams in action.

Having been created to provide regular high-quality international matches, the league has certainly seen success so far with people turning out in their numbers to witness entertaining games being played out by global powerhouses.
