100,000 tickets applied for in FIH Pro League Ballot

The ticket ballot for the ground-breaking new FIH Pro League has now closed with over 100,000 tickets applied for to see Great Britain in action on home soil in 2019.

Hot on the heels of the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup, the FIH Pro League ballot has shown the ever-increasing appetite for international hockey in this country, with both our men's and women's teams set to play in front of packed crowds in London. 

Overall 12 of our 16 home matches are over-subscribed with ticket applications for three of our double-headers able to fill capacity twice over.  

The most popular session in the ballot was Great Britain men and women’s double header with Australia on Sunday 9 June with more than 15,000 tickets applied for.

The new competition sees two leagues, one men’s and one women’s, each comprising of nine of the greatest hockey nations battling it out for glory.

144 matches will be staged around the world each season culminating in a Grand Final in June in the Netherlands. 

Great Britain’s women and men will be competing in both leagues, each playing 8 home internationals in London. 16 opportunities to support your country, cheer on your national teams and help make us hard to beat on home turf.
