Tindall ruled out of Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh

James Tindall applauds the crowd
Great Britain forward James Tindall has been ruled out of the remainder of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia, having sustained an ankle injury during Great Britain’s 3-2 victory over India.

Tindall, 29, sat out Great Britain’s defeat to Argentina on Monday and will play no further part in the tournament.

It is not anticipated that the injury will impact on Tindall’s availability for selection for the Great Britain men’s squad for the Olympic Games, which takes place in late June.
